It is with great pleasure that we can announce that we have won the call of the Austrian Research Foundation (FFG) of the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology!

Care Challenge - this means finding solutions to meet the challenges in mobile care and support in Austria. The focus is on reducing the burden on carers and caregivers while at the same time supporting them with intelligent, digital solutions! This challenge is being taken up by carecenter as a leading business partner, together with other outstanding scientific and business partners and Austrian care organisations.

As a flagship project, it will develop solutions within four years to connect care and support in Austria to the eHealth infrastructure of the electronic health record (ELGA) and to network the actors with each other based on roles and rights. Intelligent processes are being created, tested and evaluated.

This interaction and networking of the different actors should also be reflected in the name of the project: Linked Care

we won

We are particularly pleased about the good assessment of the FFG, which excellently emphasises the importance of the project and is quoted below:

"The project is highly relevant. The work packages build on each other well and have a sufficient level of detail. The methodology is appropriate; the co-creation approach promises high acceptance. [...] The project partners have the complementary individual competences that are necessary to develop and evaluate a marketable solution. Providers of mobile care (e.g. Volkshilfe) are part of the consortium as important implementation partners. With Care Center Software, a strong exploitation partner is involved in the project.

The unique selling propositions of the solution are plausible and contain information on the communication of benefits to the relevant target group. [...] The importance of the envisaged solution for the market is made clear by 17 signed LoIs. [...] The potential for exploitation is high. The project is very well suited as a lighthouse project in the Care Challenge, especially due to the very large and diverse network, the approach taken with a focus on integration as well as the prudent methodology."
